November Reads: A Cozy Mix of Thrills, Heart, & Holiday Magic

November was a month of moods—a little cozy, a little chaotic, a little introspective, and a whole lot of page-turning. As the days got shorter, my TBR got taller, and I found myself hopping between thrillers, heartfelt stories, festive reads, and even a little self-development.

Here’s everything I read this month and what I thought about each one:

Everyone Is Lying to You by Everyone Is Lying to You

A juicy domestic drama with propulsive pacing and just enough twists to keep me suspicious of everyone. Perfect if you love small-town secrets, messy characters, and short, addictive chapters.

The Courage to Be Disliked by The Courage to Be Disliked

This one was unexpectedly grounding. A philosophical conversation that pushes you to rethink happiness, responsibility, and the stories you tell about yourself. Slow, thoughtful, introspective—great for a reset.

The Intruder by The Intruder

Classic Freida: fast, twisty, and impossible to put down. If you love popcorn thrillers with big reveals, this scratches the itch.

Girl Dinner by Girl Dinner

Olivie Blake does it again with sharp humor, emotional depth, and characters who feel like they’ve lived three lives before page fifty. A fun, clever spin on modern womanhood, loneliness, and friendship.

My Beloved by My Beloved

A warm hug of a read. This Mitford installment is tender, hopeful, and full of the gentle charm fans love. A perfect fireside companion.

Overdue by Overdue

Soft, romantic, and beautifully written. A story about grief, connection, and the delicate act of letting yourself fall again. Stephanie Perkins delivers emotional depth with her signature sweetness.

Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon by Grace & Henry’s Holiday Movie Marathon

A cozy, heartfelt holiday read with humor and charm. This one hit every festive note I wanted without being too sugary. A great November-to-December transition book.

The Raise by The Raise

A stylish corporate suspense with ambition, power plays, and secrets simmering beneath glossy surfaces. Think: workplace drama meets slow-burning scandal.

Thirst Trap by Thirst Trap

Funny, sharp, messy, and so real. A modern millennial spiral—with heart. Social media, self-worth, bad decisions, and redemption collide in a way that’s highly bingeable.

Final Thoughts

November gave me variety in the best way.

A little growth. A little chaos. A lot of heart.

If you’re building your December TBR or looking for gifts, this list covers every mood: emotional romance, thriller, self-help, holiday cozy, and character-driven fiction.

Let me know which of these you’ve read—or which one I should review next!
