April Reads: What I Read This Month

April was a fun and diverse reading month! From thrillers to romance to a bit of nonfiction motivation, my book stack took me on quite the journey. Here’s a quick look at what I read in April:

1. Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler
This hilarious and inspiring book kicked off my month. Jesse Itzler invites a Navy SEAL to live with him for 31 days, and the result is an entertaining blend of personal growth, discipline, and laugh-out-loud moments.

2. The Secrets of Us by Lucinda Berry
If you’re into psychological thrillers, this one delivers. It’s a gripping tale of two sisters, a mental institution, and the secrets that bind (and haunt) them.

3. The Wife Stalker by Liv Constantine
This thriller had me hooked with its twists and turns. It’s a fast-paced story about obsession, deception, and what happens when appearances are deceiving.

4. For the Record by Emma Lord
A sweet and spirited YA rom-com with music, fame, and romance. Emma Lord’s writing is always charming, and this one was no exception.

5. Story of My Life by Lucy Score
Romantic, funny, and emotional. Lucy Score’s storytelling pulled me in with strong characters and heartfelt moments.

6. Friends to Lovers by Sally Blakely
This feel-good romance had me cheering for the characters from the beginning. A classic friends-to-more story that’s light, sweet, and satisfying.

7. Don’t Do Anything I Wouldn’t Do by Cara Alwill
I ended the month with a powerful dose of motivation. This book is all about owning your power, embracing confidence, and living authentically—with Cara’s signature sass and wisdom.

Each of these books brought something different to my reading life in April. Whether you’re looking for suspense, laughs, or love, there’s something here for every mood. What did you read this month?
