March Reads: A Month of Suspense, Self-Improvement, and Slow-Burn Romance

March was packed with an eclectic mix of books, ranging from thrillers and self-improvement guides to romance and deep-dive nonfiction. Some books had me on the edge of my seat, while others gave me fresh perspectives on life, relationships, and longevity. Let’s break down my March reads!

Thrillers & Suspense

• Count My Lies by Sophie Stava – This psychological thriller kept me guessing until the very end. Full of deceit, secrets, and shocking twists, it was one of my favorite suspenseful reads this month.

• A Beautiful Couple by Leslie Wolfe – A gripping domestic thriller that questions how well we really know the people we love. It’s dark, twisty, and filled with tension.

Romance & Fiction

• Hope This Finds You Well by Natalie Sue – A witty, sharp, and thoroughly entertaining read about workplace drama and revenge, wrapped up in a fun email-exchange format.

• Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams – A delightful rom-com with a charming premise, hilarious banter, and just the right amount of heart.

• Slow Burn Summer by Josie Silver (Uncorrected Proof) – This one is for all the slow-burn romance lovers! Silver’s writing is immersive, and I can’t wait for its official release.

Nonfiction & Personal Development

• Radical Respect by Kim Scott – A deep dive into fostering better workplace relationships through respect and collaboration.

• Read People Like a Book by Patrick King – A fascinating look at human behavior and how to better understand people’s intentions and emotions.

• Outlive: The Science & Art of Longevity by Peter Attia, MD – A must-read for anyone interested in health and longevity. Attia breaks down complex science into digestible insights for optimizing lifespan.

• Living with Monks by Jesse Itzler – An inspiring and often humorous account of Itzler’s experience living with monks and learning about mindfulness, discipline, and simplicity.

Wildcard Pick

• Big Fan – I went into this one blind, and it turned out to be a unique and thought-provoking read!

Final Thoughts

This month was a solid mix of gripping thrillers, insightful nonfiction, and swoon-worthy romances. My standout favorites? Count My Lies for its chilling suspense, Slow Burn Summer for its romance, and Outlive for its longevity insights.
